When logging information on a worksheet, one the of the many tasks faced by an Excel user is to log in the date and/or time after entering their data. Our Microsoft Excel Add-In Time Stamp does that job for you automatically and allows you to quickly insert a date and/or time in a designated worksheet cell without using formulas or pressing shortcut keys. Time Stamp has six different output modes:
Time Stamp can use your computer's date and time or it can output a manually entered date and time. That mode is especially useful when you are out in the field or plant floor and do not have a computer with you to log the date/time, just pen and paper. Time Stamp uses our "active cell" technology. This means you can launch Time Stamp, leave it open, maneuver around on a worksheet and type in or select cells without closing it. Time Stamp also uses our "follow me" technology, very important in Excel 2013 and above, and follows you from workbook to workbook without closing. Time Stamp also adjusts itself to Surface Tablets and their dialog box distortion. Time Stamp is also smart and allows you to save up to 100 tool configurations (dialog box settings) allowing you to rapidly reconfigure the tool based upon the worksheet that you are currently on. Our Microsoft Excel Time Stamp is used widely by the oil and gas industry for recording times and dates but is also useful across many industries and workplaces.
